Salary/Package: Basic circa £36k pa OTE £85k, unlimited commission

Location
The company Head Office is based in Leigh, Lancashire. However, there is no requirement for candidates to live or be based in the North West. The successful candidate must, however, be willing to travel within the UK and EMEA as and when required.
The Role
We are seeking technical sales specialists with demonstrable success providing data/voice/video solutions to the hospitality industry. This could already be in a sales capacity, but applications are also encouraged from experienced technicians capable of transferring their technical expertise to a client facing, target driven role.
As a Technical Sales specialist with Fourteen, you will be required to combine your technical and people skills to identify selling opportunities and secure orders. You will liaise directly with client decision makers including IT Directors, Hotel Managers and Finance Directors to establish and define solution requirements, identify upselling opportunities and ultimately close deals.
At Fourteen we are all about providing exceptional customer service and retaining mutually effective client relationships, so you will maintain and develop client relationships past the point of sale.
The role of Technical Sales specialist is central to the promotion of Fourteen IP as a key player within the hospitality solution market. So together with your colleagues, key suppliers and partners you will also be required to contribute to the development of technical sales processes, product portfolios and service specifications as well as maintaining knowledge of key competitor product offerings to ensure we maintain our market position. You will also play a key role assist the company to identify and facilitate the resources required to secure large opportunities.
Skills Experience & Qualifications
Experience selling or delivering IP solutions to the hospitability industry is essential.
The ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of and/or be sales or technically qualified in the following areas would be a distinct advantage;
- HP Sales Professional or equivalent
- Enterprise Networking
- Networking Infrastructure Design
- Routing & Switching Solutions
- VoIP Telephony
- Wireless Networking
A full, preferably clean, driving licence is required.
