Fourteen IP are delighted that, following a competitive tender process, we have won the contract to supply a new HP wired and wireless network alongside a fully IP Mitel 3300 for the newly refurbished and extended Kensington Close hotel, a part of the Cola Hotels Group.
In celebration of the hotels Golden 50th Birthday Kensington Close is undergoing a £40m renovation and extension project which will bring the Hotel leaping into the future with a fantastic new interior design and extension incorporating over 700 deluxe bedrooms, grand new conference and banqueting suites, a diverse set of impressive dining facilities, plush new furnishings and a plethora of new innovations.
Fourteen IP are installing a new converged HP wired and wireless network across the hotel which will provide connectivity for a range of services including voice, data, Guest HSIA, Wireless VoIP telephony, IP TV and messaging.
The wireless network uses the latest HP Dual radio 802.11n access points to provide voice grade coverage across the hotel.
Guest Internet access is managed by Tiger IP Connect Lite which allows multiple boradband connections to be managed on the network and for the hotel to easily managed bundled solutions.
An all IP Mitel 3300 system is to replace the existing Mitel SX2000 system with over 900 IP phones connected to the system.
740 new Cotell Fuego bedroom handsets are to be installed in the newly refurbished bedrooms.
Spectralink wireless VoIP handsets complete the solution providing voice coverage across the hotel as well as messaging services.
