The recently announced HP MSM720 wireless access controller is not only a very powerful and flexible wireless controller with lifetime hardware warranty, it also includes a new software warranty and support policy that is unique in the market and considerably lowering the TCO.
The highlights are:
- In addition to lifetime hardware warranty, the new MSM720 includes technical support and all offered software releases “when and if available, for as long as you own the product.” Customers will be able to download MSM720 software releases through the My Networking portal.
- This new MSM support policy also entitles all (controlled mode) APs managed by the MSM720 to all software releases, when and if available.
- Service and support from Fourteen IP is also provided with all our HP WLAN solutions
- All other MSM7xx controllers continue to include 1 year of technical support and bug fix releases (if available) with the product purchase. A Care Pack or service contract is required to receive functionality releases during the first year and ongoing software releases after the first year (when and if available).
